Glock in a hot Texas summer sun blasted car?

Post by jdm »

Has anyone had a problem leaving a Glock (or other polymer handgun) all day in a hot Texas car? Does the gun melt?

Not yet. From what I have read here there should be no problem other then the hot metal touching your skin when you try to re-holster.

No. It is going to take a whole lot more than 120° - 140° inside your car to do that

No problem with Glocks in hot car. BUT be careful with Kydex holsters ..... Comp-Tac has a big flashing color warning on their web site.
