Looking for a Ruger LCP
Looking for a Ruger LCP
Looking for a lightly used Ruger LCP. Anyone have one before I hit the gunshow? Prefer FTF in DFW area.

Did you get rid of the Sig P238?...

No, it's a keeper. I liked the size so much I also got a Colt Mustang. For some reason, the pocket 380's interest me, don't know why.
Re: Looking for a Ruger LCP
I picked up a new one at Bass Pro for $300. Their normal price is $330ish, but they will match Cabela's if you ask.
Re: Looking for a Ruger LCP
Academy has them for $319. I just looked at them yesterday, considering getting one for my wife as soon as she commits to getting her CHL.

Grayhawk, it's a disease. I have 15 or 16 pocket .380s at last count.
PM sent on an LCP or a P3AT

They go for $275-$280 at just about every table in the Gun Show. I'd just go ther and get a new one.
I think they're awful to shoot, but I recentely decided I would be picking up one for myself post CHL arrival. It's just too cool to have a gun that fits in your pocket to not have one.

Re: Looking for a Ruger LCP
I don't think it's bad at all to shoot... it's tamer than the Kel Tec P3AT. Put a rubber grip on it to help hold onto it and absorb shock and even better. Now it is NOT a fun range gun to be sure...about 50 rounds at a time is all I care to do. The Taurus TCP is even smoother in shooting in my opinion and the slide locks back in last round and is cheaper.trig wrote:They go for $275-$280 at just about every table in the Gun Show. Better find one for your wife to shoot first. She may not like it.redlin67 wrote:Academy has them for $319. I just looked at them yesterday, considering getting one for my wife as soon as she commits to getting her CHL.
My wife refuses to practice with her P3AT, so I put a couple of magazines through it about twice a year.

Anyone hit the gunshow today? Was wondering what they may be going for? Trying to decide if its worth admission, parking and cost of LCP.....
Re: Looking for a Ruger LCP
That's what I meant. When I shoot my Glock 19 or the Beretta, it's a couple hundred rounds. The LCP (when I get one) will be lucky to see an entire box when I do shoot it. Either way, the one I shot was reliable and the size of my knife. That's flippin' sweet in my book.wgoforth wrote:I don't think it's bad at all to shoot... it's tamer than the Kel Tec P3AT. Re: Looking for a Ruger LCP
Apparently my quest has come to an end. Bought a Saiga instead. Don't reckon it will fit in a pocket holster???
Re: Looking for a Ruger LCP
Sounds like you still have a pocket that needs to be filled with a pocket gun. I think that's as good a reason as any for a gun purchase. Maybe it's because I'm not married and still have single money.
