OK, I have a list of what he has in stock now. He can order anything we like as long as it's not 1 or 2 boxes, he would have to order a 500rd case and have it sit around until he sold the rest. For example if everyone that wants 9mm is interested in +p rated ammo then it has to be worth it for him to order a case. Let me know what your interested in and we can set up some form of payment. Shipping to get it to me will add $1-$2 and will get cheaper the more people we get in. Once, I have it I will distribute it on my dime. I will add a $2 for now to cover the shipping, prices may change, they won't go up but they may go down. If we get a discount for a larger order or for cases I will also deduct the difference and give you all a final price.

All of the ammo is in 50rd LE boxes.

9mm:
115gr Gold Dot $32
124gr Gold Dot $32
147gr Gold Dot $32
147gr Federal HST $37

.40s&w:
155gr Gold Dot $31
165gr Gold Dot $31
180gr Gold Dot $31
165gr HST $31
180gr HST $31
180gr Ranger T-series (SXT) $36

.45acp:
230gr Gold Dot $38

Once I can, I will move this to a new post. If you are interested in +p rated ammo let me know, if we get enough people I can have him order it for us. You guys can PM me anytime you want with what you would like so I can start to get a picture of what we will be ordering.

So far no one has shown interest in .357sig or .38 special. If some one does have interest let me know and I will add them to the list.

Not to rain on your parade, but I'm unfamiliar with prices for SD ammo (and unfamiliar with SD ammo entirely), so I did some googling and came up with this:
Gamaliel.com - Speer Gold Dot HP Pistol Bullets. 9mm/.355". 124 Gr. GDHP box of 100 for $22.99.
Midway USA Speer Gold Dot Bullets 9mm (355 Diameter) 124 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point Box of 100 $20.49 - but they're out of stock

Is this what your friend is selling? Or something better?

Maybe one of you pros can help me understand the difference?

Looks like those are just bullets. Not cartridges. It's what comes out of the brass... "rlol" - still need brass, powder, and a primer.

The previous posts got it right, this will be for complete ammunition. There may be some other places that have it for a dollar or 2 cheaper actually, but by the time you add up the shipping that's where it really hits the wallet. Buying in 50rd LE boxes and doing a groupbuy like we are is where you get the savings. Now if I could only get my 45 posts without spamming or hijacking other peoples threads I could actually start the WTS thread to make it official. :totap:

No problem, HP ammunition for self defense is a matter of personal preference, they pretty much all do the same thing. It's the same for Ford vs Chevy and pistol calibers. I'm partial to HST's and Ranger T-series and .40s&w. But, I own and would have no problem carrying Gold Dot's or Winchester White Box personal protection ammo, I just don't prefer them. I'm not sure about Texas prices, as I haven't been inside a place that sold ammo yet. In Ohio a box of Gold Dot's or Hydra-Shok's are going to cost you $22-$27 per 20rds after taxes. The Federal HST's and Winchester Ranger-T series are only available in 50rd boxes to law enforcement personnel, but as civilians we are not prohibited from purchasing, owning or carrying it. I'm not sure what the availability is for LE 50rd boxes of HST,Gold Dot or Ranger T's here are but they are scarce in Ohio and very pricey when you can find them.

Want me to check the prices on UPS shipping from me to you? Or directly from him to you?
