How does the 511B differ from a 511A?

The 511B doesn't show up on the Surefire website. Has it been discontinued?

The 511B is roughly double the lumen output of the 511A.

From the website, it would appear it is discontinued. I bought it about 10 years ago, so I am not too surprised.

Also, the 511B appears (from the website) to come only in the rifle length (long) handguards. Is yours rifle length?

Yes, it is the long/rifle length handguards---not the shorty carbine format.
