Chappell Hill is a small town between Houston and Brenham on Highway 290.

Would sure like to see more of these signs !!!!

My father grew up in Chappell Hill during the 1910s and 1920s. I was told many stories of the idyllic lifestyle there. It seems to still exist to this day. Hooray for Texas!

I've often thought that if I had a business open to the public, I'd post such a sign, at least a "CHL welcome" or some such.
