Gen 4 Glock 35 lawsuits?

Gen 4 Glock 35 lawsuits?
I've heard that that have been lawsuits against Glock for accidental discharge of the Gen 4 Glock 35, resulting in injury. It seems to me this is pretty impossible with a Glock. Has anyone heard this?

I don't see how, mechanically the fourth gen is nearly identical to the previous models and I was unaware that the Gen 4 was available in the 35. With that said I am not a Glock guy so my info may be wrong, but I'm gonna call bull on this rumor.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Funny thing about Glocks. If you press the trigger when they're loaded they usually go bang.
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

Got to agree. No AD with a Glock--IMO it takes a careless finger on the trigger when hostering/unholstering the gun. Apparently this is called "Glock Leg" among our LEO. However, it doesn't preclude someone blaming Glock on his "Glock Leg."

Gen4 G35: Not out yet. Not only "not out yet", but also pretty much dead last on the upgrade cycle list from Glock. You might see G34s and G35s in Gen4 config this time next year MAYBE.HoustonSy wrote:I've heard that...
Do you have a link to the rumor? Anything? If not, I suggest we end this thread for lack of supporting evidence. I mean, we might as well say that Barack Obama isn't really a natural born citizen...oh, wait....

Re: Gen 4 Glock 35 lawsuits?
I heard during a local Glock match that there was a lawsuit not too long ago involving their pistol cases, which were designed at the time with a bar going through the trigger guard and were made of fairly thin plastic. Apparently someone put a loaded gun into the case, and picked it up with one hand, which resulted in the case twisting enough to pull the trigger.
Probably bull, but it's just what I heard. No idea if it's true or not.

I don't see an indication of it online. I have one of those "old style cases", but it's made for a Gen3, so perhaps this is the Gen1 timeframe...but you cited "not too long ago", which makes it all the more confusing.

I could be mistaken, or the guy who told me could be. Of course, "not too long ago" can be highly subjective depending on your age, toolkd wrote:MadMonkey wrote:I heard during a local Glock match that there was a lawsuit not too long ago involving their pistol cases, which were designed at the time with a bar going through the trigger guard and were made of fairly thin plastic. I think the Glock case deal was with the old style boxes, not the new ones that came out several years ago.
