Weapon dischage in Brazoria County
Need help. What are the regulations concerning weapon discharge in Brazoria County? Squirrels are showing up in abundance in Silverlake (unincorporated)--just a matter of tme until they begin chewing ther way into our homes.

Why don't you contact your Sheriff's department? Also check TPW regs squirrels are protected in many counties,
"To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them."

It appears that Brazoria County has no bag limit on squirrels.

I shoot at my parents place in the county all the time. City has rules but not county (except keep it on your land!). I hear neighbors as well every weekend. Someone nearby has a full auto or is a heck of a bump firerer.

Heh. When I first saw the thread title, I thought someone had an ND.
Make sure all the vents and openings in your house are screened. One fall I found a drowned squirrel in the guest bathroom toilet -- with both the seat and the lid down. Could not imagine how he got in there. Week later the toilet overflowed and thought I had a poltergeist or something until I figured out the toilet had a leak, and none of the drains in the house would drain ==> septic tank backed up.
Called the pumper people -- the dug up the septic tank, pulled the lid -- and nothing was wrong. The pumper guy immediately said "You have a squirrel stuck in the discharge pipe between the house and tank. Fall comes, it gets cool, they go into warm places like vent pipes, follow them thru, and get stuck."
THEN I knew how the first squirrel got into the toilet with the lid closed. I got plumbing snake, ran it thru the discharge pipe clean out while watching into the open septic tank. Sure enough, a dead squirrel popped out, and all the backed up water flowed out behind him.
Ugly way to die. I immediately went on the roof and capped all the vent pipes with 1/4 inch mesh.
