I know this will be hard to conceal, but I'm looking for a new deer rifle.
Anyone have a bolt action .270 or similar they want to part with. I don't want to spend any more than $200 or so.
Thanks.

Keith,
I know this is above your budget, but....
Over at GlockTalk I saw this post where a guy in Hurst is selling a
Tikka .270WSM with Black Synthetic stock, and Nikon Bushmaster 3x9 scope. $550.
Did some checking. My extremely wealthy buddy who can spend any money he wants on said hobby, commented that the Finnish Tikka rifle (made by Sako) is "the finest rifle you can buy"
He shoots the $3K Sako rifle in his accuracy matches.
So, that is a good vote. Also, the rifle by itself retails at the cheapest places for $580, and the scope sells in the $250 range.
Owner says he has 20 rounds through it.

Also, keep this in mind.
I am hunting this year with a 1968 (?) Win .243 Featherweight 70 that my Dad traded for in 1971. Guns well kept, will easily pay back your investment.....

KRM45. I shoot a Tikka T3 Hunter for my long range rifle. I agree that it is one of the best out there. Out of the box best trigger I ever tightened up on. Mine is .300WSM. With that scope, that is an excellent price. I would not part w/ mine for anywhere near that.
I bought mine from a guy that shot a .243 all his life & decided he wanted the new WSM. Could not deal w/ the recoil. The 270WSM will buck a little more than the .270. If you are wanting a .270 because a 30-06 recoil is more than you want, you might want to shoot the WSM before purchase.
If you are not recoil sensitive then it is really not an issue.
I like that rifle & if you ever shoot one you will see the difference.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.
