Looking for a short barrel for my 870 Express. Anybody have one they're looking to unload? :thumbs2:

Why not cut yours down?

I cut an old 870 Wingmaster down. First added an extended magazine, then cut barrel flush with magazine. The barrel actually measure 19.5" now. I also added a Hogue pistol grip, Surefire light, and sling. I sold the original stock for $200 on eBay; that $200 paid for the extended magazine, Hogue stock, and sling and part of the light.

I wanted to keep the old barrel for skeeting (and sentimental purposes).

Just looking for a used one to save a few bucks. :tiphat:

If you are handy with tools, etc...

I have a neat 1950's era Wingmaster that I accessoried.

Shop around for an old barrel in rough condition. cut it the length you want, dirll and tap a front sight hole and mount the sight (Like HI-VIZ for example), then with cold blue or parkerize it, etc. I found one on the internet a few years ago for under $25. Works great. I found a topfolder and synthetic fore stock cheap and have a great shooting and pretty good looking and handy gun for not much money. I, too, wanted to keep the original barrel and furniture as they looked really good.

Shop around and take your time.
