"long" shirts for concealment

I have my supertuck on the way and while practicing IWB carry I've come to the conclusion that most of my t shirts are a bit too short. I am a tall guy so XL fits me fine but only rides about 2-3 inches below the belt line. A bit too close for comfort when CCing. Any suggestions on brands of shirts or retailers that carry "long" shirts/Tshirts.

I carried all summer (when not at work) in an Under Armor T-Shirt.
I am a 2xl guy, and carrying at 3:30, the 2xl shirt was fine.

I also found JCPenney has a Big & Tall Section and carries some shirts in XLT (XL - Tall) not sure about T's, but i did buy some golf shirts for times I could not carry in a T shirt due to location I was going

Same goes for Dillards or most department stores...Check out the Big and Tall section. If you want strictly T Shirts or more like work wear, then check out this site...

Most of their shirts are advertised as having longer tails.

i first read this as shorts,,, your shorts were too short for an IWB,,, and was very worried


i second the tall shirts, but i decided that most of them are fine as long as you don't reach. i'm 6'5"

Kohl's has a good selection of "camp" style shirts (the ones with the straight cut bottom) that are long enough to conceal IWB fairly easily.

I generally go to JC Penneys B&T Big and Tall ... good prices, I stock up on the $9.99 short sleeved longtails when I can.

They are cut a little longer, meant to be tucked in for safety I suppose. I've got a few polos. If you pay attention, you can snag shirts on clearance for as cheap as $.99 each.

Try Sam's Club. They carry Russell Athletic in both T's and Pocket T's. I think they are $5.99 and are made with thick material with good seams. WalMart may have the same thing, I don't know.

When I first started carrying IWB, I didn't think any shirt I had was long enough even if it was half-way to my knees. I got comfortable with it over time and now fined that I can be OK with shrts that come to just below the belt. It is mainly just the newness that will make you uncomfortable. Don't throw your old shirts away, you may want them come next summer. I know sometime carry OWB with the shirt just below the holster, but that is normaly when I'm out for a walk after dark.

I conceal in the duluth trading T-shirts, long sleeve T-shirts, and henleys daily at work. My job requires a lot of physical movement, but I've yet to be made. These shirts are also very well made and hold up well in a machine/welding environment.

They're comparable to Carhartts, but 3" longer. I usually wear an XLT or XXL reg, but I wear an XL in the DT shirts. They run a little on the large side. Highly recommended!
