Interesting Observation
Last week, I was at the Austin airport waiting to catch a flight to Missouri. Being almost noon, I decided to buy a BBQ sandwich at the Salt Lick BBQ stand located INSIDE security. Standing in line, I looked up to see the TABC required "Unlicensed Possession....." sign. I thought, Okay, who is going to have a handgun back here?....I guess regulations are regulations.

It was a felony to carry a firearm in a bar in Texas a long time before airports had security checks.Paladin wrote:I'm sure it wasn't forseen by those that wrote the law.
If you've always lived here, you tend not to notice all the weird stuff surrounding alcohol in this state. I remember when you had to buy a membership card to drink in a bar, and you couldn't buy beer on Sunday.
