New bass pro shop in san antonio

Post by Shu »

Well today I go into the new bass pro shop to look for a shurefire flashlight and look at the ATV's on them they had a note that said due to texas state law we are not alowed to discuss pricing on sundays. I thought this was a joke at first could someone explain hopefully why this is. Thanks

IANAL, but iirc it's a holdover from "Blue Law" days. In this case it is specifically motor vehicles.

It's rare to see car lots open on Sundays, because they must have one day a week where the sales people do not "sell".
So, ATVs come under the "motor vehicle" stipulations at the store where you were.
Ø resist

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

Yup it's illegal if they do so. Car dealerships have to close once a week. Some say it's so people can go kick tires without being hasseled. Most will either do it on Sunday, or Monday. The same holds true for ATV dealerships.
My posts on this website are worth every cent you paid me for them.
