Springfield Target sights

Anyone familar with the adjustable sights on the Loaded springfields? I believe they are made in Italy by LPA, after that I know very little. WHere I am headed is I would like to either change them of get something other than the flat black front plate. I am expecting the "Jim, your stuck with them" answer but does anyone know what my options are or if I have any?

I can't give specific answers, because I have no first-hand knowledge, but they are dovetailed sights. I know (offhand not closely) several people who have swapped sights on Springer 1911's, so I don't think there would be much of a problem. Find a manufacturer who makes sights you like and ask if theirs fit your Springer Loaded model. You could also get the tritium target sights from Springer that they offer on their Black Stainless (9152? I think) model, if you are looking for adjustable sights with some type of contrast.
