I'm here. Kythas still hasn't heard from the aunt, so thats still a possibility. I love labs but I already have a 4 year old mutt, so I'm hoping she'll go to a home that needs a good dog and doesn't have one. If it comes down to it though, my offer still stands, though it would be after thanksgiving before I'd get a chance to pick her up.

If it comes down to that, I might be driving down to Marble Falls to visit my daughter sometime next week. If so, I'll be driving right through Temple. I'd just need to buy her a carrier to ride in.

paw paw, sent you a pm with dates when I'll be out of town for thanksgiving.

Folks, if you're interested in the pup, please do not feel like I'm in line. I just can't stand the thought of a sweet pup without a home. If you feel moved to adopt her, you won't be breaking my heart, I just want her to have a loving home!

That's all I want too.

Heck, if you want to come see her & decide if she's a good fit, let me know. I have no doubt that anyone who does this will fall in love with her.

A couple of thoughts:

1. Our local Vet knows who is looking for another pet.
2. Our local Vet would loan a carrier for this humane trip.

We may have the best Vet in the world.

Good luck and God Bless.

I was in no way implying that you would take her, didn't mean to put anyone on the spot. I want her to find a home as bad as everyone else. I hope everything works out for the dog, I know there are folks out there looking for a good dog.

Please post a follow-up and let me know if Ram is taking her. My uncle said he won't know until this weekend when his wife gets home and they can discuss it. He said if it were up to him, he'd take her, but he needs to include my aunt in the decision making process.

No Kythas, unfortunatly things aren't going to work out with me. I wish they could. Hopefully she'll find a good home with your uncle.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Kythas' uncle to adopt her!

Yes, she is still here and in need of a home.

Sorry for the lack of updates. My internet connection went down and only came back up a few minutes ago.

Poor thing. It's starting to get pretty cold to be out there unprotected. I hope she finds a permanent home very soon! My friends in Hunt Co that I sent it on to never responded to me. :frown5:

I got a call from my daughter a little while ago. She & her SO are going to be up this way tomorrow and it looks like they're going to take the pup!
