I picked up this KelTec P11 a couple months ago as a birthday present to myself. I went into buy the PF-9 but decided I liked the double stack with 12 rounds more than the slightly thinner profile and only 7 rounds. Two weeks later I came across a Kahr .45 which has become the EDC and has made this another gun that I won't likely carry much since I hadn't even managed to get a holster for it yet.
Being that I am one to make full disclosure about these things, the first time at the range and it was having some issues feeding. I could rack hollow points through it all day long but it would hang up on the feed ramp with Remington target ammo. I took it home and took the buffer to the feed ramp and edges of the barrel. This helped a little bit but not that much. Then I realized that the top of the inside of the slide had some pretty deep machining swirl still in it. I buffed this down and polished the top of the barrel that rubs against this and suddenly it would rack everything fine. Took it out to the range and put another 100 from the same box of 250 that I had trouble with the first time and it went through them all without an issue.
Comes with the original accessories (one mag and the trigger lock) and an extra mag. $240 FTF in Houston with your CHL.
