SOLD: Springfield XDM .40 S&W plus SuperTuck and misc

Post by MojoTexas »

For sale:

Springfield XDM .40 S&W with 4.5" barrel, with lots of accessories. Purchased in March 2009, and the pistol has perhaps 500 rounds fired through it. It shoots very well, but since buying my Kimber 1911 earlier this year, I just don't carry this pistol any more and I want to sell it and put the money towards buying a new hunting rifle. Since this is my only pistol in .40 S&W, I'm also selling all of my ammo in that caliber.

I have the original case, with all the original accessories, including two magazines, a trigger lock, three different backstraps (the largest one is on the pistol) and a Kydex paddle holster and magazine carrier. The guide rod has been replaced with one of "Don's Guide Rods," which is a solid steel guide-rod replacement designed to decrease muzzle-flip. I have the original guide rod as well if you wish to put it back. The pistol also has a Hogue "Handall" universal grip, with a notch cut into it for the grip safety, but that is easily removed if you prefer.

The pistol has some very slight wear on the slide, that occurred the first time I fired it at the range. There's no rust or any other defects that I'm aware of, and the pistol was cleaned thoroughly after every time it was fired.

I also am selling with this pistol a Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe (horsehide) IWB holster, and the following ammo:

* 250 rounds UMC .40 S&W 180 gr FMJ target ammo
* 50 rounds Winchdster (white box) .40 S&W 165 gr FMJ (target ammo)
* 24 rounds Winchester (white box) .40 S&W 180 gr JHP
* 50 rounds Remington Golden Saber .40 S&W 165 gr JHP

Link to Don's Guide Rods:

I estimate that I've spent around $830 for everything, and I'm looking to sell the entire lot for $550 FTF in the Dallas area.

Thanks!

Decent price. Subscribing to see how January goes for me. I need to recover from the Christmas expenses.

Bump, still available. Some folks are interested but either they live far away or can't buy right now.

Bumping...with a price drop to entice some of y'all to make the trek to the D/FW area. :-)

I'd also consider some interesting trades. Like I said I'm hoping to apply the funds towards a new hunting rifle. I'm leaning towards a Savage "Weather Warrior" 116 FCSS in .30-06, but I might be look at other rifles as well in .30-06 or .308 (although I want to avoid Remington Model 70s).

I might also be interested in trading for a revolver...either a snub-nosed .357 or something big like a .44 magnum. A .357 snubbie would let me give my current J-Frame to my wife (I'm trying to talk her into getting her CHL), and a .44 magnum would be good as a backup pistol when hunting.

Thanks,

If you make to Houston, or anywhere near here, I'd certainly be interested. Unfortunately for me, no plans to travel to Dallas in the near future.

Just an update...I'm meeting someone from this forum tomorrow morning so that he can take a look at the pistol. According to him, there's a good chance he'll take it off my hands if everything is as I've advertised.

Time to start shopping for that new deer rifle! :anamatedbanana

I'm thinking about something in .308 or .30-06, still shopping around and comparing features.
