*SOLD* - Kel-Tec PF-9 FTF Houston Area

Post by Katygunnut »

Still need to clear some room in my gun safe. I have settled on my newly acquired Kahr PM9 for the "pocket size 9 MM" job, so this gun needs to go.

This is a Kel-Tec PF9. 7+1 capacity. 9 MM.

I just bought this gun in September 2010. I fired 130 rounds through it before deciding that it needed a trip back to the Kel Tec factory. I got this one back in mid-December, and since then I have put 70 rounds through it without a problem. This is now a reliable and surprisingly accurate little gun. I just like the feel of the Kahr better, so I have decided to part with this one.

Looking for $225 cash FTF in the Houston area.

Pistol comes with everything that came with it new: One magazine; A pinky extension plate that can be installed in place of the stock magazine plate; The manual; and box that came with the gun.

Must have a TDL (CHL preferred, but not necessary), and must be willing to sign a bill of sale attesting to your ability to legally own a handgun.

CHL says legal to pruchase the gun. I have one. If that is good I will take it & we work out a FTF meet somewhere between Lufkin & Houston.

In that case, I hope it's allowed for other members to weigh in, even if they're not moderators.

He asked for a FTF sale in the Houston area. You offered to meet him halfway, which is a 150 mile round trip from Katy. That's an extra 2-3 hours of his time (worth something) and some gas money (about 10% of the sale price) without offering him more money than a local sale.

He asked for a signed bill of sale. You said you have a CHL. That's not the same thing.

Should have said "no thanks" and saved LT the time and effort.

Guys,

It was a simple miscommunication between me and Longtooth. I knew where he was located when I took him up on the offer, plus the fact that he wanted to meet half way. That was no problem, whatsoever.

I got alot of interest in this gun, including one person who sent me a PM about it before I even posted the ad, based on something I posted in one of the discussion forums on this board. As soon as the ad was posted, I got PM's from three people, and several folks posted on this thread asking to be next in line if the sale to Longtooth fell through. I changed the thread to SPF to make it clear that the gun was no longer available.

Unfortunately, I didn't explain this very well to Longtooth. He saw the thread change to "SPF" and assumed I had sold it to one of the local Houston buyers, so he acquired one elsewhere. I spoke with him yesterday and apologized for the miscommunication.

I appreciate folks jumping to my defense, but there really is no harm done in this case. I am selling the gun to another forum member who sent me a PM right after Longtooth posted his initial offer in this thread. I didn't change the thread title back because I already had another buyer in line.

Hopefully this clears up the matter.

This gun seems to be extremely popular based on the interest I got for this one. I bought this one at Tomball Pawn last September. I have no idea if they still have any in stock at the moment, however.

I see them at gun shows all the time.
When in doubt
Vote them out!
