Good for you firefighter! ((pat on back))

Just don’t get too complacent when those jitters go away. (I cringe when I see a gun riding that high above the belt.) Keep it concealed! If you unintentionally fail to conceal you will be arrested if the DPS is involved.

Here’s why. The LEO will make the arrest even though it was clearly an unintentional exposure to avoid liability. If no arrest is made and there is an incident the PD would be exposed to a lawsuit. It took me a while to understand the contradiction. Just thought I would share. Good luck!

The WalMart on the west loop in Tyler also sells long guns.

Thanks!

As for the high ride, I pulled it out of the holster a bit to show what kind it was. Didn't want to post a pic of where I carried AND what it was, so I just kinda blended it... It really sits lower than that...

Next time I go to walmart I'm going to put the kydex clips on the holster and tuck in my shirt just for grins...

To those of you who mentioned carryign at the house, unfortunately I can't carry around my 'house'... it's a dorm. So the gun lives in a lockbox from Center of Mass in my truck. But, with any luck, we'll get concealed carry on campus in the next couple of years...
about 65 days to plastic...
Carry guns:
Springfield V-10 3.5" 1911(thanks again, Texasvet)
Glock 26
Springfield XD40 4"
Llama 1911 (hey, don't knock it. Never had a SINGLE reliability problem with it. Over 1000 rounds through it.)
(lots of long guns, and a few other pistols for other use)
