It will be interesting to see if the facts get any play in the Campus Carry debate...

1 Woman Killed, 2 Others Wounded in Shooting at a College in Alabama

90-year-old woman

63-year-old woman who was shot dead;

4-year-old boy

Typical "college aged kids"
Probably coming from a Frat party.

:iagree: I think that due to the women's ages, no one will even associate this with campus carry.

Since the alledged shooter is related, I still don't think that will make a difference.
Police identified the shooter as a relative of the victims and the shooting was likely the result of domestic violence.

Thanks! When I looked, the article had almost no information in it. They've added quite a bit more since then. You're right; they couldn't do much with these facts.

:headscratch
So, domestic violence perpetrators, tell their wife to take the mother-in-law and kid to the campus library and check out some books, and it's a "criminal safe zone", complete with campus police who are easily confused and late?
Perhaps non-students, just "borrowing the criminal safe zone"?
Thought provoking anyway.

Like the NYC guy at Harvard? I see a trend.

Wait till we see a bunch of crips/bloods/MS13 tattoos on people holding up signs on the edge of a "gun-free zone"
Free car was if your'e a business owner on the way to make bank deposits.
They'd all be safer then, well, some would be, not the business owner.

Hummm...not sure of that. Lots of baby boomer voters/influencers in the general population.

I live with a woman close to the same age as the youngest of the two young ladies who visits her professorettte friends occasionally. If she was in the wrong place at the right time she is capable of altering history. ;-)
