Just finished listening/watching to President Obama give a statement. It had a nice ending, but over all, I wasn't impressed. I didn't hear any emotion or anything, and for the few minutes that I did watch, he was staring straight as if looking into a teleprompter.

I heard a lot of "I, Me, I, Me, I, Me, I...etc"

I wonder if we'll ever get the ID of that soldier...
He or she might be better served if that information is never released.
Yep. And in our best interests, as well. Assassinating the guy who assassinated bin Laden would be a big deal for an Al Qaeda operative.

That is true, but killing Americans in general works just as revenge for them, and as many as they possibly can. I wouldn't want to be an American over seas right now.

I'm a civilian and just want to relay my sincere pride for all of our troops. Our military is the best in the world. Today they successfully completed a mission that many people worldwide thought was impossible. Thank you so much to everyone who has served our country.

If the leadership of Al Qaeda has been crippled as reported recently, that might not make much difference, anyway. Or it might make them think, "Geez, if they can get to him, nobody is safe."

excuse me you're giving credit to Bush really?
he deserves some of the credit as does Obama but the people who really deserve credit are the men and women in uniform who brought hime down, this is something that should be above politics

Thanks to our Military Professionals the 'Ability' to take out Bin Laden has existed in both administrations, neither can take all the credit for his demise.
The ONLY thing preventing his death previous to now was knowing WHERE he was. End of story.
