Update: Ranger SXT

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

I finally got back to the range with the same guns, as well as my Thunder Ranch Special (5" gun).

The TRS functioned perfectly with both the standard pressure and the +P SXT's. There are also very accurate.

My Commander and Marc's Champion also functioned perfectly with the ICC Frangible ammo, which was a little surprising in view of the OAL (1.210").

Bottom line: Neither my Commander nor Marc's Champion like the SXT's. Next trip, I'll bring my wife's Kimber Ultra Carry and my Officer's ACP.

Regards,
Chas.
