DPS Updates

Does any one know when DPS updates the status check? Is it once a day or continues?

There's no pattern to it. Sometimes it is updated at odd times like Sunday morning. Other times people receive their plastic in the mail while the web site still says "Processing application."

I've been convinced for a long time that the web site is managed by a contractor, probably under this contract: http://www2.dir.state.tx.us/SiteCollect ... eement.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

yeah i ran into that issue, mine showed up as mailed 2 days after i already had my plastic. overall i think it was about a 3 week wait after prints pics and app were all turned in

Mine updated at like 6:30 am this morning finely, just waiting for background to clear.
