Large and Medium ALICE Packs are back!

Post by gregthehand »

ike before we again have a lot of ALICE packs for anyone out there looking for some.

These make really good bug out bags or if your a gear junkie a good range bag. Of course they are also good for back packing. I have about 80 Large ALICE packs. They are in good to like new condition. All come with aluminum external frame, LC-3 straps, kidney pad, etc etc. Since these are all brand new and have the newer and nicer LC-3 straps we will do $33 a pack. I think that's more than fair since they sell new for $100+ new and around $80 used, plus shipping.

We also have a lot of medium sized packs that we are selling with LC-2 straps. All are also in new condition and come with the frame, straps, kidney pads, etc. So once again they are complete. I will sell these for $22.50 a piece. I just looked around the net and see them going to upwards of $65 so again this is a smoking deal.

Pictures of both are below. The two separate pics are the larges and the pic with the front and back view in the same window are the mediums.

We ship on UPS for actual shipping costs only. Lately our costs on shipping have been going down as our account has been getting more active with UPS. To order with paypal or a credit card you can just purchase off our site http://www.signalsurplus.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Use coupon code TX CHL to get 10% off your order!!!. Please no PMs. I get on the site multiple times a day but it's just too hard to track orders that way.

We also have used duffel bags for under $5 each with some as low as $2.50 each! Helmet bags, barracks bags, our LBVs and belts and more. Assault packs and more gear coming soon. :txflag:

Not yet. If we keep growing we'll get one in due time. Right now we aren't making enough to support me and my gun habit. :biggrinjester:

So you are saying those on the forum that are buying items from you are enablers and are supporting you in your habit and keeping you from kicking it? You really need to enter my 12 step program outlined below:

1. Send all your guns to me
2. Any additional guns you purchase, send to me
3. Steps 4 - 12 not required - You're cured!!

Seriously, you get some great stuff, and thanks for giving our members an opportunity to purchase and a discount! :thumbs2:

We gotta go have pizza again someday soon.

Congrats on the new commercial Website.

And if I needed an ALICE pack, I'd buy it from you.

I'm looking on the website... can you give me an idea of the capacity of the medium and large packs? I'd like to have one for my zombie attack/end of the world/hurricane bug out pack.

So, Greg, I was a sailor - not a SEAL - so I don't know about ALICE packs. I love the Load Bearing Vest (LBV) I bot from you recently - plus belt - a real bargain. Now I wonder how it and the large ALICE would go together. Would I wear the LBV and then put the Alice over it? How would the shoulder pads work together.

And would the medium ALICE fit a 5'1" wife ok?

Thanks for the help. I'd like to order one of each after your helpful answers.

The mediums hold about 24-72 hours worth of gear if you don't pack the world in them. If you do pack a lot you should be able to get everything you need for a 24 hour camping trip.

The large can hold a lot of gear. I'll put it this way. Last year when I went deer hunting in Nebraska I packed everything I needed for a five day hunt into one large ALICE pack. Including my 3XL insulated coveralls. The only thing that didn't go in were my heavy boots and my rifle.

Yes the ALICE system is designed to work with the LBV you already have. In fact you can actually tie the two systems together if you want with the snap closures on the shoulder pads of the LBV you have.

The medium ALICE will work fine with your wife's build. We had much shorter women in basic training that wore them for 25 mile ruck marches that had no problems. :txflag:
