Wife shot a 250

Post by CJATE »

I'm pleased, only because this is somthing she wants. I've always shot, and she always enjoyed it, but never wanted too. Every thing i own is to big for her, just not fun. And not somthing she wanted to pay a sitter, so she could shoot.

Thanks to this site, I did not buy her what I thought she might like, but borrowed guns for her to shoot as she expressed intrest.

2 week into running her own retail shop "I want to carry"

Took us a few months for her to settle into the idea, take a handgun 101 class, pick her own gun, few trips with me to the range = 250 on shooting test thismorning

Funny thing is she is disapointed, as she knows she can do better (few in the 8 ring)

Now we will see if she carries (assuming she passes written)

Her silly instructor is wrong. Wife us texting me, that I can't carry at the local hospital, I explain one is posted and the other has the old posting, and I carry at the second, not the first

She agreed to send an email after class, does not want to "disrupt"

Short, instructor says all the places added to the "ok to carry" list only need to post gun buster to keep you out. Church, hospital, ect.

Tell Her a 250 is a respectable Score in IDPA or Action Pistol.

Speaking of which... get out and shoot Practical pistol... targets don't stand still.
