In-home daycare considered school?

Okay, if we go to pick up our granddaughter at her in-home daycare are we in violation of carrying in a school??

Also, daycares don't fall under "school" unless they also have a post-kindergarden private school regardless of whether it's in a private residence or not.

I think there's more to the actual definition, otherwise every homeschool residence would be offlimits as they're treated as private schools in Texas law.

Hoi Polloi is correct, it was worded very carefully Homeschoolers' input, the schools were going to win on that issue, so the homeschoolers had to get involved and protect ourselves and our homes or have very serious problems.
