License Today & Cabela's Walk

Post by ryanr1299 »

I took today off work to take care of some other errands, and a welcome surprise showed up in the mailbox. I mailed my paperwork on 05/18 and it was received in the mailbox today. Just wanted to say hi and thanks to everyone on here...I haven't posted much but I've gleaned a lot of info and insight from the board over the last few weeks while I wait. Thanks!

EDIT: Also, I'm one of those liberal hippies from the west coast, so I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart...I do, however, intend to swing by Cabela's for my "initiation" later today. I might even pick up another toy just for fun...been thinking about getting an M&P.

Congrats. Glad you were apparently on the short track for processing.

Congrats on the plastic.

I am QUITE pleased with my M&P 9mm. In fact, I've barely shot it before yesterday. Yesterday I went to a ladies-only introductory IDPA class/shoot. The pistol performed like a champ - nary a hiccup, even without having had a break-in period. (And we just won't talk about my not-so-much performance.)

Oh well, any liberal hippie that supports my second ammendment rights is a liberal hippie of mine.

Time and practice will improve the performance. Get out often, shooting is fun and empowering. :hurry:

Congratulations on getting the plastic and the Cabela's walk! Wish I could do a Cabela's walk. I'm stuck with browsing through the Bargain Cave online.
