So I mailed the packet the 6th they showed online status on the the 13th. I logged in today
Fingerprints : Complete
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID : Valid
Citizenship : No documentation required
Passport photo holder : Received
Photo : Received
Proof of Classroom training : Received
Proof of Proficiency training : Received
Fee : Received
Background Check : Completed
Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing Pending

Wow that's crazy. My buddy at work has a Top Secret clearance and it still took him 2 1/2 weeks to get his.

Just that it took one week to clear the background check. Knowing my luck it will take thirty day because the laminator broke or some fluke like that

Yay! Mine appears to be going quickly as well, we will see how it goes this week, hopefully mine will be printing in the next few days as well.

Wow, they seem to have really cleared things up since I applied for mine. I bet you get yours in the 30 day turn around that several other people have been getting theirs.

Checked on it this morning (2 weeks from dropping it in the mail) We are now showing manufacturing....
I think the early June wave of applicants may have caught them in a slow time and they are busting them out. Or it may just be that my childhood as an Air Force Brat/Preachers Kid was not as wild as I thought!

C, you had me all hopeful and now I wanna kick you...ugh waiting on plastic AND my gun from Ruger...this is KILLING me. Every morning I wait for Gander to call saying my gun is back. It doesn't help that the service slip is on my bulletin board staring me in the face. :roll:
