Chuck-e-cheese Pearland

Post by SecedeTX »

I just got back from Chuck-e-cheese new location in West Pearland. There was a 30-06 sign, but it was in no way compliant.

That being said, I will only go to that establishment to attend a party for someone else. I choose to not award anti-chl sinage (even if its invalid) with my $$'s.

It even had a handgun with a red markout like the gunbusters signs.

From what I've read Chuck-e-cheese has a corp policy against guns. Not sure if all their locations are validly posted, but some are. Regardless of the validity, I agree with you in not supporting businesses that oppose the bill of rights (in whole or in part). In this case, I have decided that I will not be setting foot in a Chuck-e-cheese.

I also used this as an opportunity to teach my 8 year old that there are some people and businesses that want to take away people's rights, and that this is not how anyone should treat anyone else, so we will not be going there any more. She was not a fan of this decision, but luckily there are other places she also enjoys, so it wasn't too rough on her.

My 10 year old is already past the C-e-c age, so she was happy that she wouldn't be going there anymore.

:tiphat: Don't know about where you are, but up here we also have 'Peter Piper Pizza' and they're not posted (at least the one where we are). About the same kinda venue.

My son is 7 so we get invited there all the time.

A teenager in a rat suit hugging kids creeps me out a little. How often do that wash that thing anyway? ewww.

On my checklist every time that I pull out my walled is:

What I spend my money on is what I vote to exist in the world. Enough said about Chuck-e-cheese.

Any ideas about Mr. Gatti's? We don't go there often, just want to know.

Just posted an entry on texas3006.com and on facebooks Texas Concealed Carry about the Chunk Up Cheese on 1960 in N. Houston. It's sign is posted on a second entry door inside a foyer and not on the outside. So my wife was duped into going in and then had to turn around and disarm in the parking lot. NEVER doing business with them.

It was a C-e-C in Aurora (Denver) many years ago, near my house, that experienced a one man shooting spree. The publicity was so bad, the place didn't reopen for a year. The company executives haven't learned that a no gun zone invites crazies with guns, and doesn't allow customers to defend themselves?
