Yep; you're right. Only the judicial system can determine if you are guilty. Freudian slip, I guess, 'cause I'd know I was guilty if I carried after receiving effective notice...

I still don't understand most people's concerns about getting arrested for a 30.06 violation. If I was accidently carrying in a posted location and was "made", given verbal notice or asked to leave, I would be out of there PDQ.

I have been pondering this myself... My employer has a handbook that says no weapons, but no other info than that. I work for a very small family company and they are very conservative people, so I am pretty confident that they would not have issue with me carrying if they were to ever find out. As a new CHL holder, its something I had to think about for a while before finally deciding that I'll carry at work.

I guess Im lucky. The day I was hired I was told no guns at work. After working for the company for three months and being a hard working employee, I talked to my employer and told him (reluctanty) that I had a chl, and I was not comfortable with the company policy. I was told ok policy changed!

Sorry guys but I need this job so I can buy more guns. No matter what the parking lot law says you can still be ternminated for no cause just shouldn't have to take the ride. I've also been told that several of the principals that own the company carry however since they own the busniess would expect them to be immune from repercussions.
Yesterday I had to ship a gun back to the factory and could have done it from the companies mail room. Was I going to carry a gun into the premise even boxed up. No way. I took the time to find a Federal express shipper.
I stay within the laws and bounds.
