January 17th - Spring, TX

Post by MrDrummy »

Anyone in the Spring, TX area? I'd love to meet up and shoot a box!

I don't know the area very well, but would love to meet up with some of you folks, and get a look at some of the ranges down there! I know that a lot of you are in the Houston area, so thought I'd throw this out there!

Let me know!!!

I am in the Spring area but unfortunately I'm on-call that week, so no shooting for JLaw. There are several of us in the Spring area, and a few ranges to choose from. I'm sure the guys will be chiming in here soon.

Mr. Drummy, You are welcome to come out Wednesday evening and shoot with Thunder Tactical Shooters. Match starts at 6:00 and we are great at making new shooters feel like they are part of the group.

Hey, SRVA

I'd love to come out and shoot with you guys, though I'm sure I'll be highly outclassed!! What kind of shooting do y'all do? Just bullseye stuff etc? How much ammo would I need?

Can you give me the address to the place you guys shoot? I look forward to meeting with you guys.

Don't worry about being "outclassed" that is OK. That is why I want the chance to shoot w/ some of the men on this board. You can learn "something" from anyone but you can really learn a lot from from those who are at the head of the class & from them you learn the right way.
I have never shot w/ SRVA but understand he is an excellent instructor. The same for ElGato, HighVelocity, Charles, & more on this board.
One thing I have learned over the yrs is those that are really good shooters have been willing to receive instruction in the beginning, at intermediate age & skill level, and still at advanced level.
Those guys are learners first. They will encourage you as well as instruct you.

Mr. Drummy-
If you have the opportunity to shoot in Conroe....take advange of it. SRVA and company will jump at the chance to train and encourage you! They are an awesome group and I am proud to be a part of it when possible. I arrange my schedule to shoot there once a month. My face usually hurts from all of the laughter....while my skills improve at the same time. You can put your thoughts of being "outclassed" to rest....you will be part of the crowd instantly.
