I watched that video a dozen times yesterday. It is good to see a bunch of random people get involved and save a life. Not all hope for our society is lost.

Anyone notice it was a woman who was the first to act!

She goes up to the vehicle...actually goes prone on the ground to look under the vehicle and make an assessment, then presumably communicates her finding.

Atta Girl!!!!! Don't wait for some (man?) to come do it!

anybody else bothered by the goon in the suit who's checking his pockets and looking at his watch while wandering around watching everyone else who's proving their own self worth in this world? We all know the phrase about karma..... I don't want to be anywhere near that guy when karma comes to collect!

I heard today that the guy is doing okay and is talking. He has both legs broken and a broken hip among other scrapes and bumps. I'm thinking that he should be glad he was unconscious when they pulled him by his ankle out from under there.

I also that they might have pulled him a bit further. Notice how quickly they scattered and left him only a few feet away from the burning bike and car?

It was amazing. The rider was not wearing a helmet. No head injuries.
Kudoes to those willing to help rescue the man.
The idiot driving the BMW probably will only be charged with extreme stupidity.

I beg folks.... please, please, look twice before pulling out.... look for motorcycles.

Many years ago I was at an incident where a kid rode a bicycle off a curb and was run over and trapped under a car. A bunch of bystanders (including a couple of volunteer firemen like myself) were able to lift the car off the boy, who was blessedly not injured badly. We actually had to hold him down for the ambulance to arrive, and his mother showed up just about the same time and rode with him to the hospital. He did have a couple of pretty bad cuts.
