Battery for Aimpoint CompML
I lost the battery from the Aimpoint CompML on my wife's AR-15. Does anyone know the battery designation? I hope it's available locally.
Thanks,
Chas.
Thanks,
Chas.
Re: Battery for Aimpoint CompML
3V LITHIUM 1/3N
Power Source: 2x Silver Oxide 357 1x Lithium 2L76 or DL1/3N
Battery Life: 150-250 hours average
http://www.zbattery.com/Duracell-1-3-N-3-Volt-Lithium" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Radio Shack has equivalents but they are over 10 bux each and reviews say they are junk.
Should be able to find at any Photo Equipment shop.

You have your answer, but for a +1, we use Durcell DL1-3NBPK for our sighting systems.. that’s a couple hundred thousand optics using that battery with great results for what it's worth.

Another option is to sell that ML and upgrade to a CompM4 that uses a standard size AA battery available anywhere.
The nice thing about a CompM4 is that it has a voltage regulation system that allows it to use any voltage/type of battery as long as it is AA size. So, as long as it will fit in the tube, it will work.
Another nice thing is that a quality AA battery will last 7-8 Years in the CompM4! Although I wouldn't recommend leaving the battery in it for 7-8 years due to possibility of battery leakage and damaging contacts.

I've been in depositions and haven't been able to look. I plan to go today.
Thanks for the reminder!
