Any word on the release date? With this and a S&W Governor, my home defense needs MIGHT be met. Maybe! ;-)

For now, I will stick with my Rem. 870 tac express pump w/knoxx stock and XS sights, added +3 tube for 7+1 capacity. I also have 6 shell carrier with laserlyte rail adapter & streamlight TLR-1s.

I also have a Winchester 1300 defender 7+1.

Not familiar with bullpups or other predecessors like it. From my limited reading it seems like they all had issues and never caught on. Need to investigate further but I think much more product development is needed before it will replace traditional shotguns.

Stick with what you know until you know for sure there is something better.

I have been excited about the KSG since they first announced it. I have been patiently waiting and was hoping I would be able to make it my christmas present but still have not heard anything about a release date. The only announcement i have seen from Kel-Tec was to steer clear of online shops that are claiming to be selling or giving away the gun. It is not legit.

One of my local gun shops have had an order for them for over a year and have not heard a single peep. I did hear from a buddy/FFL of mine that they have been delay due to the ATF trying to desiginate it a "DANGEROUS DEVICE"(of course it is its a gun, any other tool utensil is a dangerous device in the hands of someone with ill motives). He thinks it may be another year before we see them being sold, but this is still just speculative so take it with a grain of salt. I still hope to get one when they are released. I have been wanting a short home defense shotgun and this one fits what I want to a tee.
