Best Shot Christmas Camp

Best Shot Range is hosting 3 half-day shooting camps over the Christmas holidays.

The Best Shot Camps are an introduction to guns and shooting. The three one-day camps will be on December 27, 28 and 29. Pre-registration is required and class space is very limited.

The focus of the camp is to introduce youth, 8 to 16, to a fun shooting experience. There will be rifle shooting with an emphasis on gun safety and marksmanship. The camp includes a T-Shirt, class materials, the use of a rifle, eye and ear protection, ammo and targets. The cost is $75.

There will be three primary topics discussed:
1. Gun Safety
2. Basic Firearms Knowledge
3. Basic Marksmanship

Our most important goal is for everyone to have a safe, positive and exciting shooting experience.

The camp begins at 8:00am each day at the Range. There will be a lesson, hands-on firearms instruction and shooting exercises. We will be featuring our new .22 rimfire shooting gallery with reactive targets! Camp ends at 12:00 noon

Campers may bring their own rimfire rifle to the Range. However, we will use Camp rifles for the exercises. They will be given an opportunity to shoot their gun at the conclusion of the day. Please do not bring any ammunition to the Camp.

At the end of the Camp, Parents are welcome to paricipate with their child. Campers will be given a Range Pass to enjoy shooting any time during the remainder of the day with their parents.
