CHL class 59 Gun Range and Carter's at Treischwig

Post by zigzag »

Planning to get into CHL, which among these two outfits have the best instructors to boot? I live close by and unfortunately SPortsmans Outlet in Humble has fully booked this month. They only charge $99 too .
Or you guys know of a one day course that charges $99 all inclusive of photos and fingerprinting? Thanks

Greetings--

Perform a search on "59 Gun Range" on here--

I've never been there and have no plans to. A good number of folks have nothing good to say about it.

Don Lamar is a good guy, and has a good relationship with local area LEOs who assist with his classes...though I've never taken his CHL class and can't comment first hand. I have his phone number if you need it.

Sam Pruett--one of Jim Pruett's sons--also teaches at the Hot Wells range. Sam's a natural communicator, comfortable in front of a classroom full of people. The price is a bit higher, though, I believe. You can visit http://www.jimpruett.net/option,com_eventcal/Itemid,5/ to find out about Pruett's classes.

Yeah can you PM the phone pls. I think he has a website too, right? He charge $115 Sat class including everything as well as lunch, LOL. As [abbreviated profanity deleted] r Pruitt I see they are charging $125 not including the paperworks , photos etc which can add up.

I must be lucky member 1234, easy come to remember.

I took the class with sam pruett and except for taking the photos (I went to walgreens cost aprox $8) everything was included even lunch. It was a great class. I can't say what cost was as I won class in drawing at a idpa match.

When I finally talk my wife into class I plan on taking her to ElGato but he is south of town.
