No charges or suspension for Deputy who shot woman during CHL class.

Wow. Hopefully they will release some more details, but that just doesn't sound right to me. :roll:

I qualified for my Mass pistol permit many years ago with a 22 semi. Shot in the basement of the Police station and the department provided the gun and the ammo. I don't think they were interested in marksmanship, just on how safely we handled the weapon,
I don't know how they do it today..

same for Oklahoma--and no qualification--just show ability to handle gun

Don't think that is over...The women that got shot is a Police Department's Wife. When I had my CHL class at Bullet Trap, our instructor specifically told us to keep the gun pointed down range. If he caught us flashing toward somebody he'd fail us.
