I need some help...

Post by stevie_d_64 »

I cannot for the life of me find anyone with the tool(s) to get a Williams Firesight set on a lever action rifle...

I have tried ProDefense down towards NASA, and got snubbed (thats ok, no big deal...They only really do the sexy guns)...

Ed Vandenburg, is hard to get a hold of in the last day or so...And that ok too, I'll still go to him with real problems...He's probably busier then a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest...

Is there anyone, anybody knows, who is within 20-30 minutes tops of Beltway 8 and the Gulf Freeway that I can run this rifle and sight set over to and get it installed this evening???

There is not really too much of a rush, but I just want to get this done and move on...

I'd give it a go, but I do not have that nifty tool that'll slide and center that booger on there...And there are no instructions with the set that'll make sure I don't forget something...

I defer to the knowledge base here...

New member "Mr.ZeroG" might know, and might have the tool, but he's 4 1/2 hours away, and I gotta go to school tomorrow...And I have a test!!!

I ate beans today too...

Jim-
I agree 100% that Travis is good people and very helpful, but they are only available Thursday-Sunday. That is a great suggestion that I would have never thought of. Have a great evening.

Thanks. They actually work Tuesday and Wednesday when the range is closed (at least they say they do ).

I belive Brownells.com sells the tool to do it yourself if so inclined.

the sight tool at the Texas City range isn't much good, like Jason said try Frank at Shooter's Corner, if he can't do it T's Gun's and Ammo has a good sight tool.
