I have a slide holster for my Kahr P9. The muzzle is exposed. I have to clean it out every few weeks for the lint as well. A keyboard duster can works wonders.

Any of my pocket or iwb's end up with a lot of lint... doesn't matter which weapon or which holster, undershirt or not. I do a "carry clean" weekly. Which is a fancy name for a field strip and de-lint. With practice, a "detailed" carry clean is about a 2-4 minute job.

I blow away the pistol lint with a can of Dust-off. I save my belly button lint for Naval Research.

I like the dust off idea. I'm going to steal that one and allow my friends to think I thought of it by myself.
