New Glocks in Flat Dark Earth

Post by Tallinthesaddle »

Just for the record, a Glock in OD will shoot about the same as a Glock in factory black. I like the looks of an OD Glock better. Probably those out there who aren't a real fan of colored pistols and that is fine. I ran across a blog that said Glock has come out with Dark Earth models in Glock 17,19,21,22,23. A limited run of 8,000 models thru Lipseys and they are available now and GB has some. For the colored pistol fans:

It would look better if the slide was the same color. Sorry, but this two tone look is really ugly to me. I like the Glocks and not because of their looks, but I just couldn't do one of these.

Wake me when they finally get rid of the finger grooves. Until then I'm sticking with my gen 1 & 2 Glocks.

Oh man, I like chocolate. And I like chocolate with almonds even more. A chocolate bar with .45 size almonds?

I could go for a Glock 17 in FDE.

I'd like them in desert tan. I have black and OD, I carry the OD.
I prefer holsters and pistol grips in a color which is lighter.
Alternatively, I'll take an orange one with a Stainless slide.

The earth is not flat and only dark on one side.
