"They" (meaning, "UK") have banned box cutters. It's already a serious crime to carry a box cutter for anyone who is not a stockboy who uses such a tool in his job, while directly en route from home to job.

UK knife laws are truly insane.

I hope they don't go that far here in my life time as it is already if they ban guns I will become a criminal and I don't like that idea
It is easier to get an airport security clearance than a CHL

And after banning pencils, when they realize that rape is still a problem . . .

I understand that Great Britain is putting severe restrictions on all kinds of blades. You cannot carry a knife with blade longer than 2" and it had better not be a lock blade of any type. They are even comtemplating registration of kitchen knives. I don't know how they will ever pull that off, but it will likely create a whole new bureacracy just to analyze the concept. The nanny state continues.
Gun control = hitting where you aim

After all possible weapons are banned, strong arm bullies and brutes will reign, so a law preventing anyone from weighing over 95 pounds will have to be enacted

"They" means American government.
Please help the wounded store owner who fought off 3 robbers. He doesn't have medical insurance.
