I just used a LNL powder measure to load some 223 using Sierra 69gr. Matchking HPBTs and IMR 8208 XBR powder. I am doing things on a single stage press so I'm not worried about the PTX stuff at the moment. Have you looked at the powderfunnels.com Universal PTX setup? When I get around to a progressive for Pistol loads I will intend to run a Hornady LNL AP and I am considering one of those PTX units in place of the Hornady unit.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

I have one of these on order right now. Frankly, and I have no idea if this is limited to the .40 cal, but I'm disappointed in the belling I"m getting with the Hornady PTX. I need to give Hornady a call on Monday anyway, as I'm also having challenges with the case feeder. The PTX thing is interesting though, because I'm sure the key factor is proper adjustment. With my current setup, the LnL will bell in one of two ways: Too wide and shallow, or "not at all." It's not just a matter of needing to adjust the PTX linkage stop, you also need to fiddle with the bracket mounts on the powder drop directly. You can see some guidance here http://powderfunnels.com/faq.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, but the key is getting things adjusted "just right".
