Another AK Question

Post by stash »

Does the Bulgarian (SLR) field strip the same as the Russian (SGL). The booklet that came with the SLR does not go into any detail like the booklet for the SGL? I assume it does but I thought I would ask.

It it walks like a quack like a duck, quake like a duck, it is a duck. It is an AK. Easiest to strip and clean. Designed for peasants.

Of course... every year or two you knock the dirt out of it with a rock and go back to shooting!

They are fairly universal/easy to strip. If you have trouble reading a poory translated manual, here's a guide with pictures in English.

I'm going to go to bed now and, while I try to fall asleep, ponder the peculiar set of circumstances that led to a an AK field-strip guide being hosted on an AR site. :sleep
