in the meantime READ chapter 2 in the handgun book and then read it again. understand the rules is the best thing you can do
Some parents say it is toy guns that make boys warlike. But give a boy a rubber duck and he will seize its neck like the butt of a pistol and shout "Bang!"......George Will

Thanks for the suggestion. Lately I've been practicing at the range. Now that I have started to check on my status I feel as if they forgot about me. I email. Nothing. They took over 2 weeks to acknowledge my packet and since then nothing. I am a terrible at waiting.

I don't know if it had an effect, but I contacted them and soon after movement began. So I would at least ask them. The response I received simply stated that I was in background review.

Note: My wife and I took the same class and processed everything together, yet she is at least a week in front of me. Who knew? I think I got the slow desk and she got the fast. Sending the packet down over night was useless as they took three weeks to acknowledge having it. So this is definitely a hurry up but wait game. In the mean time I practice, shop and check the site 800 times a day :smash:

I emailed them two weeks ago, still no movemnet, just got the standard reply, they have 60 days. They defiinitely have atleast one slow desk. I should have known I would get that desk. Oh well, nothing to do but wait. Think I need to go shoot this weekend. :fire

Geez that was fast. I mailed mine and so did my wife one 4-24. Still in background check. I would have figure my wife would have gotten hers fast. She is active duty military but nope if anything I think she will get hers after me.

My beloved wife received her plastic today! Since I appear to be running some 3-5 days behind her I can only assume sometime this week. I cannot stand not having anything to check all day long except the mailbox at night. This is the worse part yet.
