Still says waiting on required materials!

Well if it was mailed yesterday then it has a fighting chance of making it here by Friday. I am not holding my breathe though. You would think Austin to Houston regular mail would be about 2-3 days. I will just have to wait and see. I hate that. Lol

They'll drop it in the mail maybe this Friday or next Friday and you'll get it the following Monday. They did exactly that with both mine and my wife's chl. Mine, DPS waited one week from the date they said it was mailed to actually mail it. When yours comes in, check your postmark date.

I called them today actually. Proof to my lack of patients. But they said everything was normal and that the mail service has just been light after the holiday. Does that mean people haven't finished coming out of their sunburned hungover stooper to mail anything out yet lol. I have been fighting a cold so i guess I wouldn't be running to the mailbox much if i weren't waiting for my plastic.

As for my wife's chl I don't think she will get it for at least another month cause they lost her paperwork. Well some of it. With moving it will be hard to get the info to them for at least another week. What a mess.

So sorry you are having so many issues. Nothing yesterday. Todays our only hope cause they start forwarding the mail after that. I would have to imagine that they will not forward this. So that leaves me to believe that I will have to put in the change of address and explain that I never received it either. To top it all off my cold has gone from bad to worse. I just hope my 4 year old doesn't get it. Then sick or not we will all be miserable.

What are the chances that they would forward the license along with all my mail? I put in for all my mail to start forwarding on the 1st. I don't know if they forward that sort of thing or if it would get returned as undeliverable. I was going to give it about a week longer to see what happens but I certainly don't want my license floating around in the mail or ending up in the hands of someone else.

The envelope is sent presorted first class. It does not say anything against forwarding. I imagine it will be sent with your other mail.

Thanks. I was wondering cause I had read that some classes of mail were not forwarded. The sad thing is my dad already got his and didn't send his until after me. Has plastic in hand. His was also mailed one day after mine. Hopefully I get it Monday. Then starts the fun part changing the address online.
