Looks nice! I don't have one, but every review I've read is very positive.

Its one way around the short sight radius of AKs, thats for sure. :mrgreen:

Keep us posted, as I am sure I'll be interested in this when the AMD arrives. I was planning on using a UTG quad rail and putting a red dot in a forward mount, but if I don't like the forward mount, I may have to go to something like this.

I've heard nothing but good things about the tws cover. I am interested to hear your opinion on it, as I've thought about picking one up as well.

Take a look at Primary Arms red dots, very well made. I love mine. I have it on an Ultimak rail. Very solid, and you don't have to lose your zero every time you pop the hood.

I've seen some videos of people shooting a group, opening up the tws rail, and then shooting another group. It held zero.

Looks good! Let me know how you like that red dot...I've eyed them before. If they work well, they're a heck of a good deal.
