First carry

Post by 77346 »

As previously reported, I got my license in the mail this week... the lock box I ordered to keep in my vehicle arrived a few days later and my [pre-paid legal] card was received yesterday. So, with all that in hand, I was ready to do my first carry.

Loaded up my BG 380 with Remington Golden Saber JHP and put in my wallet holster. I was wearing Eddie Bauer convertible cargo pants, and the back pocket is too small for the wallet holster :???: but fits just fine in the front pocket... just looks like a very bulk wallet.

First stop was Petco, spent 15-20 minutes looking at some of the fish and turtles at the store, then headed to the register to pay. Next stop was Walmart; I don't shop there at all, but wanted to check their prices on 380 and 9mm... there was nobody at the register of the sports section, but one guy just told me to get behind the counter to see if I could find what I was looking for. IMHO, their supply was pretty poor... just rifle and revolver loads (38, 357 and 44). So, went around the store to check out things... to my surprise, I did see quite a few cute women... I mean, I was expecting peopleofwalmart.com kinda stuff, but these gals were hot!

Final stop was McD's. I intended to do the drive-thru, but the line was pretty backed up  . Not a lot of people inside, so decided to park and eat in. Then went home...

So, it's done... didn't feel like a big deal... but I guess it was!
