Texas State Rifle Association Announcement
Message from James Dark, TSRA Executive Director

Re: 2007 NRA Board of Director Elections

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Earlier this week, I was informed that, based on preliminary results from the accounting firm supervising the NRA elections, that I have been elected to the NRA Board of Directors for a three-year term ending in 2010. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the members of the Texas State Rifle Association who assisted me in this campaign.

The next three years will be very important for the NRA and the Texas State Rifle Association as we face an insurgence of gun control efforts both nationally and in the Lone Star State. I promise my utmost in no-compromise leadership in that fight.

Thanks again for all of your support,

Jim Dark
Executive Director
Texas State Rifle Association

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me
