Groundhog Day Topics

Post by WildBill »

While these subjects are perfectly legal and legitimate topics on this forum, they are topics that I keep telling myself that I won't become involved and post in the thread. Unfortunately, sometimes I can't resist and post anyway. :banghead:

1) AD vs NDs
2) Shooting Dogs
3) Drinking and CHL
4) Legal vs. non-legal 30.06 signs
5) Do you carry? Round in Chamber - Condition 1
6) Stopping Power
7) Open Carry - Brandishing a firearm
8) Responding to Trolls

Subject edited for Jumping Frog's suggestion + Brandishing

Not sure if I would call them "Verboten" topics, as they are always there to trigger another lengthy discussion. When one thread calms down, the subject can be re-introduced a few weeks later so we can have the same conversation all over again! :biggrinjester:

Actually, they should be call "Groundhog Day" topics as they are discussed again and again, with each event seeming like the day is starting over once again. :smash:

If we didn't have those subjects to discuss, that would eliminate about a third of the posts in these forums.

Then we've got all the people who were eligible for a CHL for the last 20 years finally deciding to get trained and apply for their license posting about how it is taking so long and they can't wait. There are about another third of the posts.

Add in the lynching of George Zimmerman and all the ways the lefties are destroying the country, and there are the rest of the posts.

We've got nothing left to talk about!!! :smilelol5: :smilelol5:

I'm talking about verboten for me, not the forum. This post is all about me. Actually Groundhog topics is a better name for them.

We could always talk about license plates and music. ;-)

P.S. I forget to add the one about always bashing the "liberals or dems."
