Seatbelt holster.

Post by grandpatim »

Hey guys and gals. When I took my CHL class our instructor told up about a holster or case that attaches to the seatbelt shoulder belt. I have googled for it and cannot find it. Has anyone else seen this or know where to get one?

Thanks in advance.

I'd hate to have to point you all the way to England to get one, but this is the only place I know about: holsters.org (Top quality stuff, though).
Hopefully someone else knows of a local maker.

I had the Belt slide from Andy and I and can say it was one of the best I have seen. High quality material and craftmanship.

Looks like this thing could solve the debate about how do you counter a carjacking senario...

(LEO) "Sir? Why do you have that towel across your lap?"

Might have some issues with the "gotta keep it concealed in your vehicle states"...But easily solved though...

He might have been talking about the Wilderness Safepacker. I use one of those in the car most of the time. I generally attach it to the seat belt. Google Wilderness safepacker and you will find it.

It was described to me as kinda like a fanny pack but not as large. Something with a pocket to just reach into. I am kinda thinking about stuffing it down in the crack between the front seats. It pretty tight and I can just keep the grip above the seat to grab it and keep it covered with a towel or something like it. I have practiced drawing it and have no tendency to sweep my wife or the rear seat passengers. But I would rather have something else that was more or less designed for the job.
