Just joined the forum

Post by rseymour21 »

Been reading about all the waiting, I mailed mine in on 8/9. I read about some ppl calling to ask, I decided to email and make sure they have everything. Here's my response:

Once documents are received by the department, they undergo processing before being entered into the system for the applicant to track. Please allow more time for your record to reflect the receipt of documentation.  Right now, it takes 3-4 weeks before we can see a status of the paperwork you mailed in to us.   The overall processing time for new applications is 60 days, and 45 days for renewals.

End

Guess I'll just sit back and relax! :patriot:

it takes normally about 2 weeks for the website to show documents have been received and unless you have some squirrely history, you should have your CHL in hand in 40 days or less.
Kick back, relax, ask lots of questions and read lots of stuff on this great forum with the immense wealth of knowledge that I learn from on a daily basis.
